At Definitely Digital we have a very unique selling point that makes us stand out from a crowded market of SEO agencies.
I would even be so bold as to say this selling point allows us to be much more competitive than traditional digital or marketing agencies, and ultimately this benefits the bottom line for our clients.
That selling point is… that we are a 100% remote workforce.

What Does That Mean?
A remote workforce means that, whilst our business is technically located in London, as a team we don’t all work from the same office.
In fact, we work from a variety of different spaces such as co-working spaces, cafes or home.
Ultimately, this means that we are able to save on expensive overheads for office space, desks, maintenance and dusty old filing cabinets.
And we pass those savings directly on to you, the client.
Being a team of digital gurus, we are passionate about working in a digital-first environment.
We heavily advocate the use of technology to advance companies and we are committed to proving how effective and beneficial that can be.
How We Work Together
Of course, we would never have made this decision had we not already been fully immersed in a digital-first environment.
All of our projects are managed using digital project management tools such as Asana and Trello.
We use these tools to collaborate on tasks more effectively, allowing us to streamline our conversations into task-specific discussions.
To communicate, we use Slack. We create groups to discuss the latest trends or findings in digital marketing and we natter one-on-one in private group chats.
We also use video calls and the old fashioned telephone to check in with one another and make sure that our team are happy and feel well-supported.
For collaborating on reports and data files we use Google Docs and Google Sheets as well as a host of other Google tools.
These allow our documents to be live and accessible by the whole team and to be accessed from wherever our employees like to work.
How We Work With Our Clients
Of course, this is the most important part.
We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer relationships and being without an office is no barrier to that.
In fact, we know of hundreds of marketing agencies with offices who have terrible customer communications!
One of our core relationship strengths is that we plan our entire projects in workbooks shared with our clients, offering complete transparency.
This means that our clients have full overview of everything we are working on for them and are able to access their reports and data from one central location.
We love to catch up with our clients and we aim to work out a system that is tailored to our client’s preferences.
Some like to hear from us all the time whereas others are happy for us to get on with it and show them the results at the end of the month.
For the majority of our clients we like to schedule a weekly catch up to discuss the latest optimisations and progress with the strategy.
We are also constantly communicating via the preferred client channels which is most often email but we are also happy to accommodate Skype, Google Hangouts, Slack or any other communication tool that works best for them!
What Are Our Overheads?
Like any business we still have overheads.
In fact, we don’t skimp out when it comes to spending on tools or resources that can enhance our work.
But when you remove the burden of office space, all other expenses seem trivial!
We pay our staff fairly and this makes up 90% of our running costs. The other overheads we have are for SEO tools, training and software.
This lack of significant overheads is the exact reason we are able to offer such competitive prices for an SEO agency.
Not only do we feel that this is unique, but we feel that it puts us firmly in the realm of being digital-first. As such, we are leading by example.
